Life is short.
Most men will die without ever, it seems, having lived. Worse, they will live as victims of circumstance, sheep to be sheared or – worse – slaughtered by the whims of devils and tyrants who inhabit the earth.
Not all men wish to die as victims of circumstance.
Some wish to Lance The Dragon instead!
Whatever their place in life, they seek to embrace the vocation of the spiritual warrior and enter into battle with dragons which, though ghostly ones, are all too real and deadly.
Otherwise such men know their destiny is to be perpetually tamed, shamed, and conquered.
For those men who will not be enslaved by vipers, there is a way of life that sets a man free: the Way of St. George the holy warrior.
It is a way whose wisdom emerges from the mists of creation itself and through an often obscure providence shapes history and emerges victorious at history’s sunset.
It is the way of embracing death to find life. It’s weapons are those that are unrespected and unsuspected by those who will to shear and slaughter sheep and enslave men’s souls. But they are the lances of life that will claim their rightful victories on the day of climactic struggle with the dragons of Hell.
Many men have a surface familiarity with the demands of this holy militancy but exhibit only an effeminate allegiance to St. George’s Way. (Let the Seeker understand that we have not spoken in the common terms these effeminate serfs commonly use to describe the Way so that when the Way is tutored in its fullness, it will be seen for what it truly is, not the sickening caricature that many embrace.)
For those who seek to know the Way of the true Spiritual Warrior, we ask that signal your interest in this dying in order to live…
Doing so will require that you embark on a series of tests to discern your persistence in pursuing the wisdom and Way of St. George.
At the end of your formation, you may be asked to join the ranks of those men who have shown their willingness to engage in holy spiritual conflict in a power not their own, singing with the joy of the battle as true men.
Your first test is to receive your New Name as a Seeker on the Way of St. George. This new name signals your intent to embark on the path of self conquering so that you may one day conquer the strongholds of wickedness when you are ready for such combat. At the climax of your formation you will receive the name of a Holy Knight and retire your name as a Seeker.
